WHAT IS PANKRATION?
Pankration was an unarmed combat sport introduced into the Greek OIympic Games in 648 BC. The athletes used boxing and wresttling techniques but also others, such as kicking, holds, joint-locks, and chokes on the ground, making it similar to modern mixed martial arts.

Our inaugural Pankration event has received official sanctioning from the Ontario Grappling Association and will be hosted at the EY Centre’s spacious Hall 1, covering an expansive 30,000 square feet.
